The Depot Privacy Policy
The Depot Community Food Centre (The Depot) is a non-profit organization that works collaboratively with other community partners to address issues of food security in NDG and the surrounding areas.
The Depot is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information, and to treat it with confidentiality and care. This Privacy Policy applies to the programs and services offered by The Depot and our website https://depotmtl.org/, and explains our privacy and security practices.
In this Privacy Policy, personal information means information that can identify an individual, directly or indirectly.
Your privacy is our primary concern. Our goal is to ensure the confidentiality and security of the personal information you provide to us and to protect this information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. - Name (first and last)
- Phone and/or email
- Address
- Birth month and year
- Any dietary restriction(s) you may share with us
- Payment information such as credit card number, expiry date and CCV code (if needed for a donation)

We may also collect personal information in order to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, or for other purposes permitted by law.

We use your information in order to:
- Deliver our programs and/or provide our services

Our website uses Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool aligned with our commitment to transparency and ethical digital practices.
Unlike traditional analytics platforms:
- Fathom does not use cookies
- Fathom does not collect personal information
- No identifying information is stored on your device
- IP addresses are briefly processed for statistical purposes and then discarded

Please note that if you request for your information to be removed, or wish to withdraw your consent, it may impact the services we can offer you. In some cases, applicable law may require us to refuse your request to access, modify or delete your information, or withdraw your consent. If we are unable to respond to your request, we will inform you of the reasons, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time.
