Our monthly workshops run all year round and cover a diversity of garden and ecological living topics.
Workshops are given indoors and outdoors, depending on the season. Topics range from techniques to improve health and productivity of your garden, to composting, to making your own natural cleaning and self-care products. Workshops are open to all members of the community. They are FREE for Depot participants and we ask for a $10 – $20 donation from non-participants to help cover workshop costs.
We also have a children’s garden workshop series where we combine learning with games and hands-on activities to promote healthy living habits and environmental awareness in our youth. Free for Depot families, we ask for a $10 – $20 donation from non-participants to help cover workshop costs.
How to Get Involved
Our Green Workshop Series this fall focuses on herbalism. Over five hands-on workshops from August to December you will learn about harvesting and preserving medicinal herbs, build an herbarium, and learn to make several healing products.
You can register online for up to two workshops at a time. Check carefully as the location varies.
