A weekly drop-in social program for older adults offering a range of wellness activities and a shared meal.
Boomer Café is a partnership between The Depot and the Eva Marsden center for social justice and aging. Every Monday, adults aged 50+ gather to socialize, and share a healthy meal prepared by The Depot Kitchen staff, and partake in activities such as chair yoga and skill-building workshops. This weekly, free drop-in program was created almost ten years ago to break social isolation and provide social support for low income seniors, and is a welcoming, friendly place to meet new people.
